For more than 30 years, I’ve been fascinated by one question:
How can we build better systems that help people make better decisions?
That question has guided my career as a CPA, advisor, educator, and lifelong student of technology.
I’ve spent my career helping organizations strengthen financial oversight, improve accounting information systems, redesign workflows, implement technology, and navigate change. Along the way, I’ve watched the profession evolve from paper ledgers and desktop software to cloud accounting, automation, and artificial intelligence.
One lesson has remained constant:
Technology doesn’t fix broken processes. It amplifies them.
